The QbCheck adds valuable objective data on core ADHD symptoms - inattention, activity, and impulsivity and increases the validity and reliability of your assessments.

What to expect

  • Complete our online screening form! If your score indicates you may have ADHD then submit a self-referral form.

  • After submitting your referral form, our pre-assessment pack will be sent to you and/or your chosen relative/friend for completion; this will include further information, consent forms and some assessment tools.

The information is then screened by our clinicians and a payment link will be issued.

Your booking will be confirmed once all documentation is complete and payment received. We will then contact you to arrange a date for your appointment.

  • This is clinical appointment is around 90 minutes (with a break if needed). Your clinician will discuss the information from your pre-assessment pack, your experiences and learn more about your symptoms. Where possible we will also discuss any collateral information from family or others. We would encourage you to have a family member or friend with you during the assessment, as this can often help our clinicians build a more accurate clinical picture.

  • Your assessing clinician will review all of the information and formulate a diagnosis based on DSM-5 criteria, they will also consider whether your symptoms may be attributed to any other condition or disorder. They will then prepare a comprehensive report, which can also be shared with your GP if required.

  • Once your report is finished, we will arrange a post-diagnostic review where we will explain the outcome and look at any support or adjustments that may be helpful.

  • At the end of your feedback session, we will discuss any referral recommendations to other services as well as signposting to resources and community support. You will also receive a full copy of your report, which can be shared with your GP, employer or educational institute.
